Who we are

minihub is made by Orions Hub ("we", "us"). You can reach us at shashank.intmax@gmail.com.

What minihub stores, and where

The todos, trackers, accounts, transactions, shared bills, notes, reminders, dates, contacts and settings you enter are saved in your browser's storage (IndexedDB and local storage) on the device you are using. This data is not sent to us or to anyone else.

Because the data exists only on your device, we cannot recover it for you. If you clear your browser's site data, uninstall the app or lose the device, the data is gone unless you made a backup.

What we do not do

• We do not ask you to create an account.
• We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
• We do not sell, rent or share personal data, because we do not hold any.

What our hosting provider sees

The minihub website and app files are delivered by a hosting provider. Like any web server, it processes the technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request, in order to deliver the files and protect the service. These logs do not contain anything you enter into minihub.

Features that use your phone

• Notifications. If you allow them, minihub shows reminders, alarms and upcoming dates. They are created on your device and are not sent through our servers.
• Clipboard and shared text. When you open "add from a bank message", minihub reads the text you paste or share so it can find the amount. The text stays on your device.
• Contact picker. If you choose to pick a quick contact from your phone, minihub receives only the name and number of the contact you select, and stores them on your device.
• Fingerprint or face unlock. This uses your device's own screen lock. minihub never receives your biometric data.
• Live exchange rates. Only when you tap "Get live rate", minihub asks a public rates service (open.er-api.com) for that day's rates for one currency. The request contains the currency code and, like any web request, your IP address. It contains nothing about your accounts, balances or transactions.
• Sharing. When you share a bill image, a recap or a backup file, your phone passes it to the app you choose. That app's own privacy policy then applies.

Backups

A backup is a file that you create and choose where to keep. If you add a password, the file is encrypted on your device before it leaves minihub. We never receive backup files or passwords.

Links to other services

Quick contacts and favourite apps open other apps and websites, such as your dialler, WhatsApp or a site you added. Those services have their own policies.

Children

minihub is a general purpose tool and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If we change how minihub handles data, for example by adding an optional online feature, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
